I'm an Iowa artist, designer and creative director who has spent a career turning ideas into things people can see, experience and remember.
Art has always been part of my life. I come from generations of makers - painters, craftsmen, a blacksmith and people who believed that if something could be imagined, it could probably be built.
That instinct still shapes how I work today.
But my career has also taken me far beyond the studio. For more than three decades, I've worked in branding, marketing and creative leadership, learning how organizations communicate, how stories shape perception and how creative ideas can serve a larger business purpose.
That combination is what makes the Artist Ambassador idea different.
I don't see art and brand storytelling as two separate disciplines.
I see an employee's hands, an engineering breakthrough, an old photograph, a manufacturing process or a company milestone and begin asking:
What is the story here, and how could we make people feel it?
ARTIST + STORYTELLER + BRAND THINKER + MAKER
My work has included public art, large-scale mosaics, sculpture, painting, illustration, U.S. Mint coin designs and commissioned work for corporate, institutional and private collections.
At the same time, I've led brands, creative teams, campaigns and visual storytelling for organizations ranging from emerging companies to nationally recognized brands.
The medium changes.
The purpose has always been the same: find the idea that matters and bring it to life.
